I am beyond privileged to announce MultiPlan’s continued presence in the esteemed Great Place To Work Certification® program for 2023. This recognition is a direct reflection of the amazing employees that we hire, our strong core values, our committed leadership, and our constant focus on maintaining an environment where exceptional work and progress can thrive.

The Great Place To Work Certification® recognizes employers who create outstanding employee experiences, and Certification involves a two-step process requiring us to survey employees annually on the MultiPlan workforce experience.

What we accomplished

Most notably in our survey results, we received improved scores from employees across all questions and categories. This stellar improvement in responses presented us with a 90% overall satisfaction score – a 4% increase from 2022 and much higher than the 57% overall satisfaction of employees at a typical U.S.-based company. Some highlights of our workplace scoring from 2023 include:

  • 96% believe MultiPlan management is committed to and supportive of diversity and inclusion
  • 95% report people of all cultures, abilities and backgrounds are respected and valued
  • 94% stated that when joining MultiPlan, employees are made to feel welcome
  • 92% think management is honest and ethical in its business practices
  • 91% shared that employees are given the resources and equipment to do their job
  • 90% say that they are proud to tell others they work at MultiPlan
  • 90% feel that MultiPlan facilities contribute to a good working environment

Alongside this prestigious accolade and impressive metrics, MultiPlan has also earned placements on the Fortune Best Workplaces in Health Care™ 2023 and Fortune Best Workplaces in New York™ 2023 lists. These recognitions would not be possible without our employees and are a testament to the culture that allows us to do such important work to better the healthcare industry.

Why it matters

Beyond the metrics and accolades, we understand how important it is to employees that they feel good about the work they do and that they feel seen and heard. When they do, employees come to work with a different mindset than those who do not share the feelings of acknowledgment and purpose. This is what propels us forward. We believe that the performance and impact of our employees provides the foundation of our past and future success.

Based on the extensive responses and comments from our employees, we know that our team feels they can trust MultiPlan leadership, their colleagues, and the direction of the company. We believe that trust fuels performance. When you create and maintain a working environment where employees have trust in their leadership, each other, and in the direction of the company, true potential is unlocked on both the individual and group levels.

Because employee feedback and independent analysis determine the scores, validation from employees can help future job seekers identify if MultiPlan is the right employer for them. Qualified applicants can increase as much as 50% when they see current employees promoting the company, and approximately 30% of new hires mention the Great Place To Work Certification® as a contributing factor in accepting a job offer. Additionally, 52% of candidates check social media on potential employers, so a Great Place To Work Certification® serves as reliable third-party validation for MultiPlan’s employee experience through a globally recognized and research-backed verification.

How we are moving forward

Our trajectory is guided by our ongoing efforts to actively listen to our employees, and we are committed to making improvements based on their valued feedback. Leadership is continuously engaging in action-planning processes based on the feedback we have received from employees; they strive to elevate experiences and opportunities with transparency in mind. MultiPlan leaders embrace accountability and responsibility for our workplace and are committed to delivering results for their respective groups’ action plans to improve, in addition to what we are pursuing as a company.

Thank you to our employees for supporting and validating the work we do to carry on a positive workplace experience for existing team members and those to come.
